SpaceHack

A hackathon where participants combine aerospace technology and computer science ideals to create applications/websites/games/products that demonstrate the best use of research and creativity.

Guidelines:

  • Teams of up to 4 members are allowed to participate.

  • The contestants are required to choose a track which will be given and submit a prototype.

  • The prototype can be a mobile application, website, desktop program or even a game.

  • Qualified contestants will have to present their prototype to a panel of judges in the final round.

Timeline:

16th Nov: Prompt Release*

20th Nov: Submission Deadline

20th Nov: Round 1 results

24th Nov: Pitching round


Eligibility to participate in the event: Grades 9-12


Number of participants per team for each school: Upto 4 max

Number of teams from each school permitted: Unrestricted

A) SpaceHack is open to students from Grades IX-XII.

A) Contestants will need some basic knowledge of programming/development in order to participate in the hackathon.

A) The final results for SpaceHack will be announced in the closing ceremony.

A) Teams are required to choose 1 track for their submission only, as combining tracks will lead to confusion.
